Ah, gardening season is here at last!! Bliss!
We spent all morning Saturday in the garden having a good, paws-in-dirt time. Under Daddy's wonderful direction, we did allot of pulling up of hundreds of little sprouts, and then re-planting them in order and where each variety should go. It felt so good to get out in the dirt and dig! After lunch we did a little weeding amongst the larger broccoli's, peas and luttuce', and then I think that wrapped it up, for now! Now all it needs is rain (well, the sprinkler systems does well, too, LOL) sun and time 'till we are the partakers of crispy fresh, organic food!! Busy hands...
Little luttuces ready for planting...
All the sprouts, wrapped in moist paper towels to keep them nice and watered. (Sometimes on sunny days we use that bucket in the background to keep the sun off of them, but that day it was nice and cloudy, tra-la!! It was so nice out.
"And then, whom did Peter see around the bend, but Mr. McGregor on his hands and knees planting out young cabbages!" :) Of course in this case it would be Mrs. McGregor, and of course that literary villainess is nothing like our sweet Dee...

"You-whoo, guys, look over here a sec!! Thanks, darlings!"
Yumm...
Our wonderful, green-thumbed, kind, Godly, manly Head Gardener and Daddy, Michael B. Morton!! Three Cheers, Daddy!
