It's A Boy!!!!!!!!

He's here, everybody, safe and sound, praise God!!!!!!!! After a 3 1/2 hour labor, Carlos Phinehas (Fin-e-us) came right out, into this world and the arms and hearts of his adoring family at 8:28 a.m.! Kressant is doing really, really well, and Michael did a terrific job of being the Doctor!! God gave them wisdom, and the birth just went wonderfully.
Little Carlos weighed in at 6 1/2 pounds, with dark red, slightly curly hair, the softest, fluffiest cheeks you will ever hope to feel, and a good hearty cry!! Ah, he is soo cute, and looks a lot like Michael III. One of the first things Michael Jr. said was that he looks like our dear cousin, Quentin G. III!! He really does favor him...Kress and we girls all think he looks like Kressant's lovely cousin, Christina T., too! LOL, I love trying to find a baby's family in It's face!
Alan, Carlos' uncle, got a great birthday present today as it is Alan's birthday!! . :) Alan's sisters nicknamed him Charles P. Morgan, and Carlos, a Spanish form of Charles, comes before a 'P' and it all ends with another 'M'~so now we have two C.P.M.'s, born on the same day. We thought that was so neat!
We are so grateful to the Lord for another precious grandson~May God bless little Carlos, and draw him to Himself! We love you, sweet baby! Welcome!!!!

Love an excited,
Auntie Adeline

P.S. my guess is a 7 lb, 4 ounce bouncing baby boy!!! Nana and Rachel think it's a girl...We'll see!!

Nana's Quilt

While Grand Daddy and Nana were over for supper the other day, (we had a ball, by the way!love y'all!) Nana dear showed us her amazing quilt!!! Isn't it beautiful? Each square is of a different pattern, and in happy, clear colors~I love picking out a favorite square of a quilt, but with this one it was hard~they were each so lovely. I finally decided on the bottom left corner square. I hope that one day I can make a quilt like Nana's~it is truly a pleasure to look at. Great job, Nana! Three cheers!!! The backing...Isn't this stitching neat? The colors are so vibrant...

Looking forward to seeing your next work of art, Nana dear! Happy stitching...
