This just in.........

The news of Wesley Morton's and Miss Rachel Smith's upcoming betrothal and wedding has flashed through the phone lines from here at Calathora. His distinguished Uncle Wesley, for whom he was named, sent his hearty good wishes, as did his Aunt Rosemary . (The family name of Wesley came from Wesley Cleveland Collins, Wesley's Great-Great Grandfather.) But, back to the news flashing over the wires!!!!!!!!!!!!
The family toasted the newly betrothed couple with mint juleps, courtesy of Mrs. Katie Smith. Wesley's cell phone has now grown permanently to his ear and he is continually seen with a grin from ear to cell, uh, I mean ear.
All kidding aside, we are very grateful to the Lord for blessing these two with each other. They both understand that the upcoming relationship is so awe-some, that it will take the power of God to fulfill all of its possibilities and responsibilities. A very good start, I'd say.

The betrothal ceremony is this Saturday and the wedding is on August 25. But the hour is shrouded in mystery!....................................

I am so happy for the excited couple! What an honor to be joined to one another. I am so very blessed in my own marriage, and I pray such blessings and adventure for the happy couple! Enjoy this engagement time without resenting the wait for the wedding. It's the only engagement you will ever have together. Cherish it, and revel in it! Celebrate!
