We are so thankful to God for bringing Wesley and Rachel together~ We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for them! A betrothal ceremony was hosted for them on Saturday evening at Calathora. Friends and family came from Alabama, North Georgia and Florida to celebrate with us and hear Wesley and Rachel speak their betrothal vows to each other - and watch Wesley fork over the bride price!!! (Mr. Bret drives a hard bargain. :) Then again, Godly daughters who desire to be excellent wives and reverent helpers to their future husbands are rare jewels. )

so much for all you did with the meal and clean up! All of the ladies and girls were such a blessing~thank you.
I want to inform you that I regretfully have no pictures from the actual ceremony~We {the mortonclan} have either lost our little camera, or it was snatched from our purse by a pair of tricky cut~purses. Alas, 'tis no more. Hence, we are always pirating cd's of photos from other kindly participants! ;) So, here are just a few scattered ones from before and after! :) Here is one from afterwards~Love your smile, Jordin!
