A very early Merry Christmas to you All! (And a Winter Drink to Toast with. :)

Hello again, Y'all! {Can y'all tell I'm trying to get three weeks worth of blogging done in one night!? What fun!}
Here is the recipe that I found in an big old cook book stuffed in the back of our cabinet~Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas Season and a memorable Thanksgiving!
~Adeline M.

Eggnog

Beat until light: 6 egg yolks-Beat in gradually: half cup of sugar {We Morton kiddies always put more sweetener then what is called for, though. :p} Add very slowly, beating consistently: 1 cup of brandy, 2 cups of cream, and 2 cups of milk. {We nix the brandy, of course, and add a few teaspoons of vanilla and then put in an additional cup of cream}
Whip until stiff:
1/8 t. salt, and 6 egg whites
Fold the above into the cream and such, and serve cold with freshly grated nutmeg. We just kept adding more/less or additional stuff 'till we liked it~have fun, and enjoy!

Thanks, Adeline! Sounds like you make things like we do, " more or less of stuff until we get it how we like it"!
