To our dear friends:

It is with great joy and gratitude that we announce the engagement of our son, Michael, Jr., to the lovely Miss Kressant Smith of Griffin, Georgia.

Thank you, Bret and Jacqueline, for the many years of faithful sowing into your wonderful daughter's life.

The betrothal ceremony will be announced at a later date.

Dear Mortons (Smortons and Smittens)
Congratulations on your wonderful, wonderful news. These words come from around the world in Moscow RUssia - right across the street from Red Square.

We hope to make the ceremony with our new additions. God Bless and see you soon.

Much love and affection,

Mark and Kathy (et al)

I know it, Amanda! Now that Kressy and Michael's engagement's been publically announced, I've said the phrase "bursting with news" many times. I've tried to tone it down. :)

Ah, my dear Kressy, we are so happy for you!!

Love,

Ivis

P.S. Mrs. Chancey's boys finally arrived yesterday!

Ok - how old are these two? They look like teenagers? Far too young to be getting married. That's ridiculous. that's statutory rape in most states.

Dear Anonymous: Your ungracious comments hardly deserve a response, but I will return your rudeness with a civil answer. Michael and Kressant are mature young people, who fear and love God. They are 21 and 18, soon to be 22 and 19, in a few weeks - ready for marriage as much in maturity as in age. By God's grace , they have no debt , a small home and a full time career in an established family business. You should identify yurself next time and join in the joy .
