Hey Y'all!
Terribly sorry that we have not posted in so long! Our minds and hands have been happily busy getting ready for the 8th! Mumsie Dear has got Katie's dress almost all finished, and the building of the barn is steadily progressing...The last three day's I've been burning everything in sight~all the old wood, raked grass, and eye sores I can find around our place, LOL~everything unwanted and burnable (or not so burnable :) goes into the pile!! [one thing I have found is that it is not wise to burn old broken strollers...]
One of the many things in the past few month that God has really blessed us with is that our precious grandparents are now living with us! We are so happy! They are the dearest things in the world, and it is such a pleasure to have them. They bring such a joy in our home, and are always such an encouragement and are always praising the Lord for His blessings to them! Just this morning, Grandaddy and Grandmama, {on noticing that we were not "bloggin' on that computer" :) } went to the store and set us all up with a new camera!! They are so sweet.{Humm...Doesn't it seem like we are always braking our cameras!? About every other month the post is " The New Cam." } Anyways, hopefully we can post some photos soon.
Katie darling has been fixing up her new home in the sweetest little way! It is so precious seeing her ''homemake'' in her own place. I will have to get a pix. of her beside it to show y'all!
The electric guys came this morning to put the electrical work in the barn~The little boys had a fit and a half watching them at there work! Speaking of which, I need to get back to my own, so toodle ou!
A fine afternoon to you all!

LOL! Hurray for Grandaddy and Grandmama! We Smithy girls have been missing them terribly. What fun:) We love and miss our sweets! We are working in the yard today, trying to restore some order to it. It smells strongly of onions. :)
Love from the smithy clan!

Adeline,

Good to hear that you are all still alive! I am sure things are hopping as everyone is eagerly preparing for the special day! I wish that we could be there, but alas, we must forego the pleasure because of distance. I am sure that the day will be lovely. Can't wait to see some photos with that new camera:)

Say 'hello' to Katie for me!

Dear Mortons and Smiths,

Today is the blessed day!!! I wish in God's providence we could have attended Alan and Katie's wedding, but know that we are rejoicing with you this day. May God richly bless this new covenant family.

In Christ,
The Serven Family

P. S. Can you put up pictures from the wedding? : )
