Calathora/Moultrie GA. Weather Yesterday Evening...
This is a dreadful pix, as it was dark, but where the lighter blue is, that is sky, and the dark is the tornado...quite a few big big bolts of lightning flashed around it, and most of the sky was a dark grey~God's power is so awing~He is so mighty! That dark line at the bottom is our tree line, and there was about 350 + - yards of cotton field betwixed us, and then the tornado was beyond that, so we did not get any of it, thank the Lord... :)
Lavender Time...
My dear Grandmama and precious Mama call this silent and hazy part of the morning Lavender Time...Isn't it lovely? It does not happen very often, and is very dear to us, as Grandmama pointed it out to us~when it is Lavender Time, you feel like you are in the midst of a sunrise, and it is all around you...

Having fun with Katie's dress, and practicing the processional... :)
Mama made the toile {a muslin premake} of Katie's wedding dress, and the other day, we had a blissful time with Kate as she tried it on, and practiced the processional! We were getting the kinks out of a song we might use, too, and just having lots of laughs and jollys together!! The dress will have sleeves, of cource, nixing that white scarf. :) Katie's on cloud nine, and then some~ {that is an extreme understatment, LOL~ the only way to describe her lovely face is the word RADIANT!! :)} We are all very excited and praising the Lord for all His mercies to us!!!

Mr. Tommy Day delivering our new horse from Waycross,-w-
This horse is Standardbred
and is an ex-race horse [trotting].
After racing for a few years some Amish bought her to pull their carts.
While a good trotter, they wanted higher speed horses than this, so they sold the horse to a Mr.Day, who then sold it to us.
She can pull carts/carriages and came with harness/collar.
