Howdy, Folks!!

A few weeks ago, some of us took lunch over to the boy's job. We had a great time over our sandwiches, laughing, telling jokes and then taking a few siestas under the pine trees and in lawn chairs afterwords, all making for a very jolly and relaxing lunch break.

The project their working on right now is the re-building of a cabin from the early 1800's!! They're doing beautiful work, (Of course, as always ;) and it's been really neat to watch it go back up all repaired and sturdy, using most of the original logs and beams. It's made of virgin timber, being one of the earlier homes build in our county, and you can even see where the men hand sawed it! I'll have to show y'all a picture of it when they finish it all up!! Until then here are some of the us, the cabin, and the lovely grounds surrounding it.

The Bessingers Visit!!!

Wednesday we had the great joy of having the precious Bessinger family in our home for the evening-what a blessed time of fellowship and refreshing!!! We are so greatful for dear friends like them who uplift us and encourage us in the Lord.

The Fish and the Boy

A few weeks ago found Andrew and his nephew fishing out on a neighbors dock. After pulling up a Little Bite, he carried on to show Bret a little about the swimming shiny thing. The child was terrified of the flopping fishie, and would not be comforted, so, back in the water he went...{the fish, I mean}A quick snapshot of the catch before his tossing...There goes!!! Here's Bret a jolly child once more!! He did enjoy the tossing, however, waving his chubby paws in excitment...Maybe we'll try the introductions again in a few months, but for now, we'll all enjoy watching the fish sail in the air and make a splash...
