Goodbye, Flint

Well, our ever faithful yellow lab, Flint, passed away Friday morning. He was the best dog in the world, and we will miss him so much. Here's a few pictures of our buddy. We are very grateful to the Lord for the blessing of such a good dog for so many years.
His favorite spot was on our door mat...
Flint, all of us kids, and our wonderful Auntie and all the beautiful quilts she made for us... LOL...
He always followed us so faithfully on our bike rides...
Sheriff Flint. Poor thing, he put up with allot, :)...

Flint and his pal, Smokey the cat

Bye, buddy. Good boy, Flint.

I'm so sorry. Pets really do touch our hearts in a special way.

    God bless,

  2. Tears in my eyes, as my old girl is 13 and getting weaker by the month here. She is a golden, plagued with arthritis and just old age. Still loves to round the kids up though when she is outside with them and roll in the beautiful spring sun.

I am sorry to hear of his passing, as I know how special animals can be. The Lord was gracious to grant us dominion over them wasn't he?

  3. Oh how sad! Flint was the sweetest ole boy! He was getting pretty old though wasn't he? I'm sure that's hard for all of y'all. When our Lab dissappeared for a while, it was pretty traumatic around here. Poor thing.
