One of the most precious things in the world, is when God sends a baby into the world. It's first cry, the first time you see it's tiny little self, all wrapped up in blankets, in the arms of it's mommy, and you pull back his little blanket, and you see his round head, as soft as the inside of a rose petal...he might look at up at you and cry, or he might be sleeping, or his eyes might flutter as they adjust to their new surroundings. Something in you just want to hold and cuddle them forever...To run your finger over it's perfect nose, so tiny and smooth, that comes to a little button at the end, and what joy comes the first time they smile at you. A little baby is such a gift from the Lord, such a blessing. Recently, we gathered together to celebrate the birth of such a precious little one, Owen Isaiah H., a true joy!!! We love you, Precious! We're so glad you're here with us, and we're so grateful to God for your life.
The man himself! Sweet little paws...
A lovely gift of diapers-and such a creative way of presenting them! The Hagen and H. ladies had such a beautiful luncheon set out! Dearest J. (love that sweater!!) We feasted on strawberry soup and salad, and there were luscious sandwiches, too. The lunching Darling Small in her robes... Yes, blessings to you, Owen!! Laughter... Miss Mary. What a smile... Sweet sisters Gabby and Mary Mrs. K, the mama darling, opening her and Owen's gifts. What a jewel of a lady.
(LOL, I always laugh to myself at how when ever a new gift is opened, we all go "awww..." :) We make a regular choir!! Oh, but all the things really are cute...) After W. Dear shed her robes, she is seen here posing in front of the cake, LOL... And here she is after it's cutting... Camera wars, LOL! Precious S., big sister of the little honored man! And what a wonderful big sister she is-S. is such an example to me. And here's another set of sweet sisters, and Aunts to the little guy!! (Hey, Mrs. Apr.!! Kat. told me you stop by here every so often-super glad you do! Hope you're well. It was great meeting you, and seeing your mom and sister again, too!) Some more tasty little things... Sweet little E., big sister to little Owen...what a cutie pie. Some amazing and precious mothers and wives. S. DearAnd I'll end with a picture of Owen, a most beloved blessing!! We love you, baby.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Andrew's deer!!!!!
Hey everybody!!!!!
Here's to Andrew, our great hunter!!!! He shot a young buck Thanksgiving night, from the second story window of our house, 500 yards away!! And right in the heart!! {Oh, to those of you who may be eating those thanksgiving leftovers as you check this blog, you may want to skip the very last picture-kinda unappetizing. But it was such an great hit that we had to show y'all the picture) Regrets that I don't have any pictures of the crowd that gathered-the card was almost full!! But we were able to get one of our man and his first deer- Great job, Andrew!!
The heart and place that the bullet hit...
The meat is at the butcher's right now, being made into wonderful sausage!! Thanks, dear Andrew! You're wonderful.
Wesley's saying the only way to beat this one is to start stalking deer with a knife...

We've been tagged!
OK, folks, here goes-7 random facts about our family. I always laugh heartily over other people's little answers, so I'll try to make this one interesting as well.
Alrighty-
1. We're very last minute/spontaneous. An event can be planned a year in advance, and we still save all the goodie for the last month. (or week, or day.) But, somehow, the Lord helps us to get everything done before hand. (We secretly enjoy all the frenzy and hoopla at the last minute, though-it gives one great excitment!)
2. When anything happens, we fix it or celebrate it with lots of food, and are tickled pink when you eat it, and enjoy it. It is one of the highest forms of a compliment to us. (Never refuse ice cream, especially, LOL. ;) 3. Three of our children married into one family, and then both family's widowed grandparents married as well-that makes my brother-in-law my first cousin, my brother's wife my sister's brother's sister, my brother's wife's grandmother my grandfather's wife, my sister-in-laws father my mother's brother, and then it's all wrapped up by my sister being my first cousin. :) Try to wrap your mind around that, LOL!! 4. We had our so-many great grandfather come over on the Mayflower-his name was Richard Warren, and he signed the Mayflower compact in 1620. Our little Paul Warren is named for him.5. In the 25 years of our family history, we've had 3 broken bones amongst 12 kiddos. Praise God for only 3!! (Well, major bones, that is. A few toe's have been smashed, but there's nothing a little popsickle stick splint and masking tape can't fix on that scale. :)
6. When ever our precious extended family gets together, along with singing, laughing, eating and prayers, there's always a bag or two of delicious "Greenburg" i.e., passed on clothes for us all to dig through-we have so much fun!! We love freebies.
Ok, now I'm supposed to tag 7 others-
The Del's over here
The Smith's here
The Hagen's over at the homestead
Aubry's Spot
And the Bessinger family!!
Well, that wraps up this fun little dittie! Thanks, Strangs', for the tag!
See y'all later. Goodnight!
Love, Adeline
P.S. I'll have to show y'all a picture of John Wright's reading glasses-they're so cool! I can't find 'em right this minute, but as soon as I do, I'll post a pic. of them. Family treasures are such neat things...

Slip and Slide 2
Hey, Y'all!
Look at these hilarious old pictures of us kiddos back in '02/'03 on the slip and slide! We just got a huge bag full of old film developed, and have enjoyed (and laughed) ourselves to pieces looking at them all. We thought we'd share these, considering we enjoyed the same occupation this past summer. Only this was before the grand tire, dawn dish soap and sprinkler improvement of 08. :)
Look, everybody's soo little! {Oh, anybody out there remember that old bus in the background of the last picture!? Old pictures bring back so many precious memories...} 'Ze Slid and 'ze childwen-from left, that's Sam, Martha, (the one in mid-run) then John, Wesley, Cleveland (the one on his way into the fence) Katie (sliding) and then Andrew catching up!
Dorothy, Martha and Katie. And Wessy. (This was back before he gave up his finger thing. ;)
Notice the trash can strategically placed at the end of the slide to break your crash into the fence. We have since replaced it with tires-we've found they're a little softer. :D Oh, and look at Sam's face! So cute.
Cleve, Wes and Sambo...
Little Johnny man...Wow, to see how much the little boys have grown up in just these past few years, really motivates me to be a more loving, faithful sister to them-they're growing so fast, one fails so often, and time is so short. May the Lord help me to redeem the time.
Well, goodnight, folks! May the Lord fill you up with His perfect peace, that passes all understanding tonight!!
Love,

Playing with Shutter Speed/Random Family Pictures
Howdy, Folks!!
Well, now that my dear Uncle Quint (who is an amazing photographer) showed me what shutter speed and aperture is, and an slight idea of how to use it, I've been having so much fun playing with the settings on the camera!! This is super great for me, 'cause I've never been able to get a picture in dim light with out it being a huge blurr. I've got a million miles to go on getting a really great picture, but every inch if the way is exciting. Here's my darling victim, who was an angel and agreed to stop what she was doing and pose for me...isn't she beautiful!?
And lastly, here's a curtain-kind of random, but the light coming through the lace was so pretty!
Anyway, here are a few more random pics of the clan!!
Have a blessed day, everybody!! As for we girls and Mom's day, Lord willing, it's off to Tallahassee for shopping, Joann-ing (yah, we're in there for hours!!) and taking a little meal over to the F. family, who just had a precious little baby boy the other day!! Praise God!! We can't wait to see him and Mrs. Ronda and everybody-I know he's a sweetie, knowing his mom and his fam. Oh, by the way, if I find something really cool at the goodwills/consignment shops we go to, I'll have to post it to show you girls! I just love looking at people's finds! So fun.
Anyway, bye, y'all!
Love, Adeline Dorothy and Andrew by the lake... Wesley and Rachel' house is coming along! The famous see-saw! Darth on her speedster. ;)A white cotton field with the sun setting on it, one of the most beautiful things in the world... Martha at church, with all the precious little girls around her that love her so...
The cabin is almost finished! It's so beautiful!!
Mama and some of her sons...
